2003-10-16 - 11:37 a.m. My guitarist, comic foil, and best china plate, Dave Benjoya, has a new political blog. He's good at all that political commentary stuff. Some gal named Velvet Lane also contributes infrequently. The frequency with which I mention this guy probably overstates my love for his music just a little, but he is in the news a lot lately, and my other musical idols are not. I have been making a concerted effort to at least try to enjoy new bands...but the stable of today's buzz bands (in NYC, anyway) leave me a little cold.
