2004-09-22 - 1:15 p.m. Midday report: I have been reading this book in dribs and drabs for the last two days, and whether I'm waiting for a subway or in my cubicle at work, I end up garnering confused and helpless looks from passersby who don't know if I'm laughing hysterically or weeping. Generally it's both. I have mixed feelings about McSweeney's, but this collection I have unreservedly positive feelings about. S'funny. thoughts?
