2007-03-06 - 10:35 p.m. This story about gibbons functions as both a nice metaphor for turning the other cheek (if you don't read past the first sentence) and also as just plain interesting monkey-talk. I have heard gibbons "singing" (at the LA Zoo) and they can sound amusingly like car alarms, and just as loud. Tim Fite's album of lo-fi hip-hop (think Beck at his rappingest) is pretty good...and more importantly it's free, so you can judge for yourself.
