2007-07-07 - 02:37 a.m. Today was a nice day of traipsing around the Brooklyn waterfront, first to check out the beach and floating pool, and then to see the Boredoms show. Except, I got nowhere near the pool, which had throngs of people waiting, nor the Boredoms show, which had literally thousands of people queued up, with no certainty of actually getting in. But even though I was thwarted at every turn, it felt good to roam around the leafy, cobblestone streets of Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO, which I have not done in a long time.
