In researching two brassy-voiced singers of the early sixties, I came upon these priceless videos...

First, there's Evie Sands's compelling "Take Me For A Little While."

The fierceness and total commitment of her performance is matched only by the utter goofiness of the background singers' dance moves.

And then there's Jackie Trent, who wrote and performed this terrific ballad, "Where are You Now?"

The video clip--which features some of the most awkward and psychotic kissing ever captured on film--is not Jackie herself, merely an actress who looks sorta like her.
