And also in a folk vein is my latest musical excitement: King Creosote, a prolific home-recordist and label-owner with a voice of pure beauty and intricate, interesting songs that don't just sit there. Such joy in finding an artist who has already recorded 40 albums--no danger of running out of stuff to explore.


I have no great love for Wilco, but I think Glenn Kotche's solo work is hypnotic.
