So from noon to three you were a Buddist? I'm feeling a little Tingri at the moment...

Harold Budd puts me to sleep almost every night -- and I mean that as a compliment. I think I have probably listened to one of the Eno/Budd ambient collections, such as "The Plateaux of Mirror"or "The Pearl" more than any other albums I own. I have mild insomnia and they simply send me off to dreamland more effectively than anything else. We have music for almost every other human activity, why not for sleep? Appropo of nothing, there's a great Charles Bronson comedy/western called "From Noon Till Three". Worth catching.

Well, not to nitpick, but it is apropos, cause Paula and I both said "from noon to three." Is that a HIGH NOON send-up, per chance?

Well, if'n ya wanna get really picky, I said "from noon yesterday to 3:00 today"

I remember your vinyl copy of Plateaux, I can envision it sitting there, neatly wrapped in plastic, on your desk in B-dorm.
