when I was in fifth grade, we wound up with a pregnant gerbil as a pet. The gerbil ate several of her babies. I can't tell you how much that upset me -- I literally had nightmares about it for years. I wish my parents had let me get a dog instead ;)

Yes, it was supremely stupid. But I sometimes like the feeling of my brain dribbling out my ears, especially when nostalgia is involved. I was most revolted when MacKenzie Phillips said that Schneider was a sex symbol for women over 40, and now that she was over 40, she was feeling the Schneider-love, too.
