What do you have against the 4th? I agree on the other two, but the 4th. I guess if your stuck in the muggy city on the 4th that can be rough.

I would characterize all three as big, loud, obnoxious holidays where people drink too much. 4th of July also, as you said, features hot weather and fireworks gone awry and kids setting off said fireworks for a week before and a week after the holiday...

I feel that it is important not to loose sight of the true meaning of St. Pat's day, although that the conversion of Ireland to Christianity has come to be associated with drinking far too much certainly seems more than a bit ironic. I once read that the holiday can be traced back to an acient Roman spring/fertility ritual that took place on the same day - another pagan holiday that was conveniently converted to a Christian one. In any event, tonight will be my first St. Patrick's day gig. Personally, I just really love playing them smokin' jigs and reels.
