I'm somewhat troubled by the fact that the Green Goodness juice is available at Wal-Mart, though I really shouldn't hold that against it. It's also available at our chain Organic groceries and Target, either of which are much more palatable shopping expereinces.

What's the deal with Wal-Mart? I've never been in one--why would a person shop there versus KMart or Target? Or is it that they have no choice?

Wal-mart is almost always the place to go to get the absolute lowest price on something if you want it now, and can't wait for shipping. On the other hands, their labor practices are reprehensible, they blackmail their wholesalers into cutting their prices to the point where they are making just enough to survive, and they usually stock only the lowest quality merchandise when options are available. I'd much rather spend 5-10% more to shop at Target, personally, not least of all because the employees at Target don't typically look like they're so stressed out they're going to snap at any moment.

"Naked" puts out one of those green drinks. It's lighter then the Fresh Samantha version.

Re Wal-Mart: Yes, in lots of places people have no choice but to shop there...because their sheer immensity allows them to undercut everyone else's prices and drive them out of business. And combined with their cutthroat labor practices (one reason their prices are so low), this results in a net economic *loss* to communities...despite Wal-Mart's promises of jobs & growth, etc. (I think it was the city of LA that commissioned a study that established this...anyone have an URL?) Wal-Mart is a cancer.

Mr. Party loves the Green Goodness. Green drinks are not my cup of tea, though. It's like drinking my backyard.
