The part-WASP background explains your occasionally perky behavior. Perkiness is simply not a part of the Italian genetic profile (and certainly not Eastern European either)

Yeah, I've had week-long bouts with "plucky, can-do" tendencies as well, but now I'm on medication for it.
Tom, are you 100% Eye-tallion?

No, I'm not Full Metal Ginny; I'm German and some sort of Eastern bloc mix on my mother's side; If I recall correctly, that makes our ethnic backgrounds roughly similar. Scary, huh?

The Captain doesn't sound anything like I thought he would. I pictured him as a sort of debonair, swashbuckling sadist. He sounds just like a frat boy. I suspect the Captain has a ghostwriter. I wish Captain Fantastic had a blog! Paula, you gonna read your ancestor's book?

I am going to at least carry it around and show people. I made the mistake of jumping right into another relationship with a classic. Maybe I should have played the field a little...

I'm still monkey-less in gaza, and am starting to get a little antsy.

Dear Pancake-Thinker: The bout of perkiness you've been feeling is a direct result of the missing monkey - that, and our organization's surreptitious drugging of your system. Until the monkey is back, you will become more and more perky each day, until you wear nothing but "this season's colors," smile inanely even when the President is on TV, and listen to more and more top 40 "modern R&B." --Debonair Swashbuckling Sadists for Monkeys
