I came for the clean, but stayed for the warm.
I came for the soft, but stayed for the gemtle.
I came for the hard, but stayed for the fast.

OK, my birth song is "wake up little Suzie" and I couldn't be more pleased.

Mine is Bobby Goldsboro's "Honey." How sucky is that?

you know, it's true, coming to a website with little GIF queston marks is like walking in a neighborhood with lots of boarded up stores. I'm getting scared and depressed.

Pardon the pedantry, but as a longtime Shoes fan I'm obliged to make the standard correction: the name of the band is Shoes, not The Shoes (this link a little surprise from a Goggly "I'm feeling lucky" search for "The Shoes"). Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Not only are you monkeyless, but your commenters' links are getting screwed up. I suggest withholding payment until Diaryland gets its stuff together.

"The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by the Tokens. That makes sense. But..."the year of Bobby Lewis"?

We've done this before, so I knew Carino's birthsong, which is hilarious, and that I was Elvis (can't complain) and I knew 2f's song. My girlfriend gets Roberta Flack's "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" which is beyond awesome. But if she had been born a week earlier she would have gotten "A Horse with No Name", which I guess puts her on the cusp of "plants and birds and rocks and things."
