Yes, maybe it's their unfamilliarity, or their latin roots, but they blend into intriguing emotional metaphor much more readily.

"Raiders of the Lost Ark"

Gee, I'm not sure "Sunset Boulevard" equates to one being "all about fame and success". (I finally saw it for the first time a couple of weeks ago... and was relieved to see that it was cheekily unclunky for that era.) (Plus it seems to have been a big influence on Fellini's "Nights of Cabiria", even though they're very different stories.)

Bob - 2005-08-30 14:43:10
Uh, yeah... I am "all about power and control, living by the mafia code". (The Godfather.) Huh?

Bob - 2005-08-30 14:57:10
And what leader am I? Saddam Hussein, they claim. Dang.

Mattina, I'm Raiders of the Lost Ark, too. And I'm Einstein.

MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON and Saddam. Hmm. That's more and more compatible, the longer I think about it.

well they say I am Sunset Blvd also, but I'm not really ready for my close-up.

"Platoon"

Flasshe - 2005-08-30 18:14:02
Hey! I wonder where you got this from?

I'm a "Platoon" also, Eric.

"Easy Rider", ladies. "Easy Rider". As for the outdoor shows, the one in Brooklyn is the better by far. Oasis? Really?

Apocalypse Now. Bill Clinton.

First time I was The Godfather, second time I was Schindler's List. Apparently I'm some sort of oddball Coen Bros. movie. Oh - and I'm Gandhi (as leader, not as movie). (That result is just what I needed to justify my desire to wear diapers full-time.)

Sue - 2005-08-31 02:22:37
Not surprisingly, I'm also "Platoon" (I say that because I suspect Rog & I often score similarly on these types of tests).
-------------------------------
Flasshe - 2005-08-31 12:18:37
Indeed, Sue. When I first took the leader test, I got "JFK", which made no sense at all (yeah, I use my sex appeal for power). I think something was messed up. When I took it again, I got "Einstein".

I am Apocolypse Now, but really I want to be Brazil.
