I'm not sure if "I Pimp Myself" or "Pimp Yourself" would make the better title - but one of them would. Better than what, though? I haven't heard the Caribou record (although I have heard whichever tracks appeared on the preceding EP) but I enjoy the Four Tet record pretty well. And I liked the Manitoba record a lot too. I hadn't noticed the "folk" element much - but it wouldn't surprise me if it was there, since I've been becoming more intrigued by the whole notion of "folk" lately. (I could pimp a mix I did recently exploring same - but I'm too lazy to put up the link. It's at Art of the Mix which I think is dot-org, and you can search for the mix entitled "Go Folk Yourself" (the title is actually a response to an earlier mix made by this mix's recipient).
