They look pretty good on Mozilla Firefox.

Thanks!

On Explorer, the monkey is kind of khaki green. But maybe he's supposed to be.

Hi Rebecca: Yeah, he is kinda khaki-ish, it's OK. Thanks for weighin' in.

On this routine Explorer browser I'm using at the moment, the color of the lettering looks a little intense and uncomfortable to read to me. The monkey looks fine: thought I was peering into a mirror for a split-second there.

A bit like a Howard Johnson's.

Um, are the letters supposed to vibrate? I like the monkey!

Very very orange!

Paula - 2005-11-07 14:35:51
OK, I'm gonna change the font colors. I would feel sad if suddenly you all went blind, or crazy! Thanks, peeps.

Whaddaya mean "went"?

Paula - 2005-11-07 15:01:09
True. Amend that to "crazier."

Aw, you are such a doll! My aging eyeballs thank you.

I like the new colors, especially better than the old pukey yellow (sorry). Why does the monkey have two shelves full of lotion bottles?

the color is actually "olive drab" (marine uniform) not khaki, which is basically beige. Is that supposed to be me?

Weighing in late here: the print is pretty much white, except the linkies which are yellowy; the background is a warm brown (maybe not the best choice where monkeys are concerned but otherwise nice). Your olive-drab monkey has a cream-colored hat with deep-red trim (matches his mouth - style!) and is playing an orange guitar). This is all in Firefox, of course. Looks good! It's clear to me that this monkey is playing at an open-mic held at a combo comedy club (the brick wall) and salon. Why the salon has barstools for customers to observe the various products is a mystery to me. The monkey apparently makes use of an unusual muted-slide guitar technique, involving an overhand grip on fluffy-looking mitteny thing. Incidentally, he looks kind of related to Bert.

This is the feedback I was really looking for. Thanks, 2fs. Incidentally, he is a sock monkey, hence the cap and the mitten-y fingerless hands.

The monkey is playing in a bar. Those are the fancy-schmancy liquor bottles behind the bar.

BP: So I would have thought, but it was my impression that monkeys don't drink. How terribly, terribly sad if I'm wrong. Incidentally: you can get fancy liquor bottles, and you can get fancy-schmancy liquor bottles - but how come you can't get just schmancy liquor bottles? It's enough to drive a monkey to drink.

It's well-documented that monkeys are high on life. However, that bar may not be a--er--monkey bar, but rather a human bar that the welcomes all primates.
