Like usual, I don't know most of the bands you mention, but Ed Hammel(!) last time I put his live album on I was very tempted to run out and find a corrugated metal wall to spray paint "Hammel Is GOD" on (still not as good as seeing him live)... and I love his hairstyle.

Didn't we already have Hank Williams Jr.? Okay - I admit, I haven't heard "Shooter" Jennings' music (and I can't even *write* that name with a straight face) - but...an LA guy who'd played with Guns 'n' Roses leading a "-gun" band (with a superfluous double-letter - nobody else does that) up until 2003?!? Not to mention all that bullshit about his tattoos yadda yadda. Ick. His music would have to be pretty damned good to overcome all that baggage (and I'm not particularly a country fan - even real country, which I can at least respect).

Oh, and Paula? If you really need only two weeks to catch up on the music you haven't heard - damn but I need some of your time-altering powers. Two *years* more like!
