You're predicted choice on Heath Ledger seems very wrong, compared to the fact that it seems that Phillip Seymour Hoffman is a shoe-in for the award. At least you didn't want Brokeback Mountain to win best picture. I thought GN&GL was much better, but my pick is Crash. I enjoyed Brokeback Mountain, but it just didn't move me the way it moved others. I also don't think that it'll stand the so-called "test of time" and in a few years, it will be forgotten.

We have watched Were-Rabbit numerous times since receiving it from Netflix. It's wonderful. Gromit's expressions are priceless. And I love Helena Bonham Carter's voice work as Lady Tottingham...I wish she could have been nominated. She probably will be rooting for Corpse Bride.

The kids and I have watched Were-Rabbit a gazillion times; and enjoyed it almost every time. I agree on Gromit, as the New yorker points out his brow exhibits a range of emotion well beyond most actors today. The sets were amazing and I loved all the sly sexual jokes. And in keeping with the mood of the blog "The Rabbits, what about the Rabbits!!!!"

Those rabbits were, arguably, cuter than the Brokeback sheep. The Bunnyvac scenes? Oh, lordy!

Re: "Articles of Impeachment", weird but true: the brilliant mind behind that book, progressive constitutional counsel and All-Around-Super-Dude Michael Ratner, is the brother of none other than....you-know-who.

Weird! I'm guessing Michael is the younger brother...? Oh, and for non-Brooklynites, Sharps is a-talkin' 'bout this guy.
