As I told Andy, I'm posting a photo of Angel every day this week, as my way of observing Lent.

Damn, sorry I missed it last night. I passed out at 8:30... but I LOVE the Pretenders, well the first two albums anyway, and a few songs off Learning to Crawl, and the hard to find b-side, "Cuban Slide." Where the hell is THAT these days? Is that on the boxed set? I fell in love with Chrissie Hynde when I saw the Back on the Chain Gang video on MTV back when I was whatever 14, 15. Later I went out with a girl who looked a lot like her, at least she wore the same amount of black eyeliner and had the similarly coiffed black hair. I miss her. One of my all time favorite songs ever, "The English Roses."

Yes! That went straight on the ol' iPod immediately.

Angel's whole first album is good prog-pomp stuff, like Styx if they weren't such wimps.

Which Angel song is it with the really high vocals and the squealy synth? Oh... Anyway: other than that one song (which, really, I am thinking of an actual song - but damn, I can't recall even a single lyric) I only remember Angel cuz of the infamous Zappa song featuring Terry Bozzio's peculiar crush on Punky Meadows.
