I figure it's damn near time (excuse the pun) for a shake-up more meaningful than the Da Vinci Code. At this point there are so many Gnostic Gospels available (many authenticated), but the religious community seems pretty threatened by them. It would stand to reason that if they TRULY had faith they wouldn't be trying to squelch the information. They would stand behind their version both academically and spiritually and trust that "truth will prevail." Also, the Catholic Church has retained records of exactly what was eliminated with the Council of Nicaea http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Council_of_Nicaea and thereafter. If they didn't have their own doubts, they'd lay it all out in the open. That would make sense to me anyway.

The "wit" page hurt my eyes: narrow, sans-serif font resolves nastily. Anyway: the guy's trying too hard. If it's not about fun, it isn't witty no matter how trained someone is. Being "witty" to increase sales will, most likely, be utterly transparent...and will annoy most people. It's kind of like the false intimacy some wait staff put on (as opposed to genuinely wanting you to enjoy your meal, doing their job - but not pretending to be your new best friend).
