"The Rapture" is an amazing film. Unfortunately, Tolkin's next flick, "The New Age" is not amazing. It's ok, and shows a welcome riskiness on his part, it's just nowhere near as startling as "The Rapture". The only other Mimi Rodgers film I found entertaining was "Someone To Watch Over Me" although I haven't seen it since it was in the theatres and I'm not sure if it holds up. I don't read a lot of fiction, but I own nearly all of Mr. Vonnegut's work. We've got to clone him quickly...

Hey I like this Tom Warnick! Thanks! Great songs AND he lists Reverend Fred Lane in his influences. The Hittite Hot Shots rocked! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00000DBUT/104-3440033-2909545?v=glance&n=5174 Car Radio Jerome though, seems to be unavailable.

While it's very much a supporting role, Mimi Rogers is in "Ginger Snaps" a very effective little Horror/Thriller out of Canada -- definitely worth adding to the Netflix queue.

Ah--I saw this a while back, cute movie. And of course, I saw her in the Babs-fest The Mirror Has Two Faces.

I liked The Rapture, too. BTW, Mimi Rogers is a Scientologist - she introduced Tom Cruise to it. In fact, I think I read she was born into it - her dad was a close associate of L Ron Hubbard.

Golly. The wisecracks want to gush forth, but they are stuck. Help, someone.

Mimi Rogers was in a 1994 movie called "Monkey Trouble" with Harvey Keitel and Thora Birch. I have not seen it but, c'mon, how bad could a film called "Monkey Trouble" be?
