The bat. They had to get a replacement bat.

But amongst the "humans," apparently Mr. Steinman and Mr. Loaf had a falling out that got litigious. They've patched things up, and Steinman contributed a couple of songs, but he didn't produce.

I know waaaay too much about this topic.
