I think Kerry kind of blew it in his response--he said that it was GWB's lack of studying that got HIM stuck in Iraq and that he wasn't referring to the guys there. The rest of his rebuttal about the "botched war" was the strongest we've heard yet from him. His speech to the students, that was so widely criticized, was one of his best ever. The missed opportunity, in my opinion, was that he neglected to mention that not everybody who enlists for ANY reason, could count on having somebody to pull strings to keep them out of combat.

This is weirding me out. It's like an electric chair with a lot of padding. What if it all goes wrong and fries you while you're listening to "Stairway to Heaven"?
