Whew! ah fate, I'm glad she spared you! it's always sobering to realize that the presence or non presence of a copier ( color!!) or in days gone by, a lampshade, can be the axis on which our lives can turn! but spared, we beat on, boats against the current, born back ceaselessly into the past. "New Stooges!" - good, even amazing news; has anyone other than me noted how "The Passenger" and even a few Velvet Underground tunes have been appropriated for commercials and even Muzak!?! It freaks me out every time (I hear them in that context)...

I saw something with Mike Watt recently and he was talking about new Stooges. He seems pretty thrilled. The prospect of a new album makes me very very happy indeed.
