"The Real Tuesday Weld" sound like they're full of Moxie, so I may have to pick that up. I've only read one book by Neil Gaiman, "Stardust", which I thought was an engaging enough sort of neo-fantasy (it had a humorous slant to it; these types of books frequently don't). Anecdote; this sounds like name-dropping and I suppose it is, but at a recent work-related assignment, I got to briefly meet Mr Gaiman -- I had to get a release from him and he was completely relaxed and happy to do so; many of his peers (of much lesser notoriety) grumbled their way through this process, when they were willing to sign one at all. So N.G. is okey-dokey in my book. Finally, quinoa is cozy, but spelt makes my heart melt.

If you're tired of wheat
And gluten's far too sweet
Try spelt!
If eating rice is a chore
And corn is a bore
Try spelt!
Quinoa is so blah
And millet?
Can't kill it!
S-p-e-l-t is the grain for me!
Spelt spelt spelt spelt spelt!!!

Wow, I'd never heard of black quinoa, but sure enough!

Okay, between the comments on the glob and the photos on that link, this is somewhat reminiscent of a spread in High Times. Can we smoke this black quinoa? Dude, come back to my place after class. I've got this outrageous Hendrix bootleg and some black quinoa buds!

My kids fav song for the last few months has been Bathtime in Clekenwell. It doesnt hold up well to three months of listening.....

Chris--that's so funny--my 14 year old son and I were listening to that last night. It's amusing as hell but I can imagine it would be really annoying after a while. I've found the key to sanity with younger kids is to find music they like that won't drive you batshit on repeated listening--because kids can play the same song 30 times a day.

Oh, I meant "how's that spelt?"

You mean listening to the same song over and over is something you're supposed to outgrow? Why was I not informed? (Takes "Hate to say I told you so" off repeat)

Alan--I'm prone to the same thing. In the midst of an existential crisis a couple summers ago I played That's When I Reached for my Revolver about 25 times in a row. I'm also known to binge on a specific artist--Legend has it that my marriage ended because of a two week stint with Lou Reed.
