You can't resist knocking the man, by which I mean, the boss.

How about some Swedish folk songs? this group showed up at Fred's back in 2001, during old timey night, and sang some beautiful stuff, then , they were nice enough to mail me their cds.

Actually, that album I linked to has some Swedish stuff, too--very haunting. I will check out your Swedes.

Such awesome power! -- It must be hard to resist the potential for abuse. Still, I wonder what else you can get Rickie Lee Jones to do...?

Bruce fans are so easy to wind up.

Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez - 2007-02-07 10:57:49
That's it. I'm going back to the "Greasy Lake" blog, where they understand.

Paula - 2007-02-07 11:13:23
Vini: I had to check, and, indeed there is such thing as a Greasy Lake blog.

Philip: I am now working on getting RLJ to PayPal me $15.00, strictly through Mind Control. Try it!

Hey Vini, I heard that the Boss was going to do a rock opera taking all the lyrics from Molly Ivins soundbytes. Then he found out The Big Man (not Tony Soprano) was supporting W. Bad scene down at the Stone Pony, dude.

Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez - 2007-02-07 14:32:32
Greg, I'm sure the W that the Big Man (Moshagun, to those that truly know him) supports is WEINBERG, and no one else. You may make fun, but I'm sure you have your big "Bruce LIVE from the Capitol Theater/WNEW-FM" poster next to your bootleg copy of Wintergarden and the 8-track of Born to Run in a safe place where you retreat to re-energize and re-organize. You can't fool a fellow traveler. Paula, my apologies for the diversion.

Vini, You'd laugh if you knew how many ticket stubs I have from the Capitol in ol' Passaic. Anything from the Garcia Band to Hot Friggin' Tuna to Frank Zappa... never sawr da boss theh.

T-Shirt & Razoo Kelley - 2007-02-07 15:38:45
Hey Vini, you ever get the Patti Smith tour shirt back from Scooter?
-------------------------------
Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez - 2007-02-07 17:03:54
Yes and no. I got a T-shirt back, but it was the wrong size and the wrong tour!
