I seem to be among feline familiars lately, despite my (waning) allergies it's nice to be around them again, I am amused by my sense of knowing them, although 'twas probably a grandparent that I knew.

No, but I been over a few freinds houses with cats, and the local deli had a cat when I went in this morning, I have to admit, that I picture them being perplexed, like "how did he know I like to be scratched like that?" cats for me embody a combination of cuteness and beauty, and maybe something else...

foam parties? at bible camp?? is it not an abomination unto the lord??? I was raised without religion, and now I'm a little upset! we had no foam parties at quaker Friends camp! (where I was sent to establish pacsifist cred to stay out of the draft)...
