Hm. I thought Knocked Up was a series of good comic vignettes strung together along a flimsy plot line. Someone had to point out Martin Starr. I didn't recognize him. He was my favorite geek from Freaks and Geeks.

I've never seen F&G, but I already love Jason Segal (another Geek) from, um, another sitcom that shall go nameless b/c I'm embarrassed to say I watched the whole first season on DVD in a matter of days.

Indeed it is. It is a pretty funny show, and Jason Segal is totally cute and charming in it, as is Doogie Howser.

Freaks & Geeks was great television... wow, what an oxymoron... but it was. It looked, sounded and felt like it was supposed to be.
