I can't remember where, but I saw brief footage of Mike Watt talking about recording with Kelly Clarkson. He was very cool about it--it seemed like he was both humored and humbled to be playing on something so "maintstream."

Just thinking more about Mike Watt, and the Minutemen, and his solo stuff too. "Contemplating The Engine Room" is one of my favorite albums of the 90s.
