This world has gone to hell when your fellow passengers will rat out a monkey. What did they think it was an exploding monkey????

I am going to try to lure you to come visit us here in SG, by reporting that we live near a nature park and a nature preserve and the macaques hang out on the sides of the neighborhood roads towards the end of the day scavenging for scraps (which are scarce in Singapore). They have "free-range" orangutans at the zoo, just playing the trees overhead. And as torn as I am about zoos, they look so darn happy and healthy! Maybe it's the climate. Not sure about getting one home on the plane, though.

My brother lived near a nature preserve in SG and always spoke of the monkees. I am hopefully going to spend next summer there for work, so Paula will have another reason to come....

Seems to me a bunch of people are already in the SG time zone. Thunder wake you New Yorkers up or are you all insomniacs???

Earlier on this morning your train was shot. I walked down there when the F was out... there was nothing running and the subway platform was 4 and 5 people deep. That was early though. I left the house at 7.

Despite not working, got to be better than London tubes, where you squeeze into something from "journey to the center of the earth" with a mass of people who dont like deodorant.

Dude... the deoderant free seem to make up about 3/4 of Brooklyn.

I've fallen behind but hope you guys are still reading these comments. I am counting the days to an IHOP visit to SG! Chris, if your brother was in Bukit Timah, then he was probably right near us -- small world, so to speak! What was he up to here? Please do let me know if you will be coming next summer. Paula should have my e-mail.
