Right-brained Lulu!

what does it mean if I noticed her pert athletic body?

Somewhat surprisingly (at least to me), the "simple test" has me more right-brained than left -- and I am also most like "Kitty"; does this mean we now have to fight to assert our respective alpha-person-hood privileges?

I think I failed the test. I could only see it turning clockwise; I couldn't focus and make it go the other way. Does that mean I am bird-brained?

Utterly Left Brained Midge...

Bina - 2007-10-15 15:06:18
But how is it anti-clockwise? I don't get it!!!

Bina, try focusing a little below her turning feet. That works for me.

Do you think suddenly seeing the ballerina reverse her rotation could accidentally permanently rewire the configuration of your brain?

i'm a right-brained Lulu too (good song title, by the way, one of you songwriters should take a crack it), and I can't make that girl go counterclockwise no matter how hard I try.

It's a weird magic-eye thing--suddenly she's a-spinnin' in the opposite direction! Very interesting.

Another of my bloggity acquaintances linked to this very article the other day. For me, it's easy to switch her rotation back and forth. Mainly, though I worry that the poor thing might get dizzy and fall over, and I too wonder where she left her clothes. Of course, that could be a new meme: Naked Spinning Woman! She could show up randomly at events (she wouldn't really be naked, you know, because too easily ID'd: I propose a head-to-toe, skintight black covering, sorta Sexy Ninja style) and then - whoosh! - disappear. And to show my equanimity, I have no preference as to whether NSW spins clockwise or counterclockwise. Or widdershins, whichever one that is.

Probably it's because they're in the southern hemisphere so the lady spins in the opposite direction to which she would if she were in the northern one - like drains.

Oh yeah, I'm a right-brained Kitty.

I always hated that damn Magic Eye. Oh, and Naked Spinning Woman sounds like a cool Halloween costume.
