But the old classic rules.

I really liked Feast of Love too. The movie is worth a looksee when the DVD comes out-its quite true to the book, but not nearly as good.

I haven't met any "Phillipine Presidents", but, oddly enough, this morning I got asked to have an old AGOTUS call the new one (and even managed to).

Are you living with your aunt or somethin'? (Note: this conversation will not mean anything if you don't know Bob, but there are several folks here who do.)

Eric: Yep, I queued it on the 'flix on your recommendation a few weeks back, in fact.

Nah, her phone had been busy (probably hung up wrong), so her former secretary (who is now the "current" one's - though I'm not certain she remembers his name yet) called here. But, hey, now your blog's probably eligible for electronic surveillance cuz of that acronym.

RE: this old classic

I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole -- or any other appendage of considerably shorter length... -- although the "Editorial Review" on Amazon is pretty hilarious.

Also (and I know I've mentioned this to you previously, P.), for those who have not seen A Midsummer's Night Dream -- or even if you have, but just not the version I'm about to reference -- check out the recently-released-on-DVD 1935 Max Reinhardt productionthereof, which stars (amongst others), Dick Powell, Mickey Rooney and James Cagney(!?!) as Bottom. Despite an incredibly obnoxious performance from Rooney as Puck, it's still my favorite "Hollywood" take on Shakespeare.

I can vividly picture Rooney saying "What fools these mortals be!" in that characteristic gosh-golly way. The clip must have been in That's Entertainment" or something.

Is Bob related to Janet Reno? cool.

Thanks for recommending the band Plumerai. The songs I've heard so far this AM remind me a bit of the Duke Spirit (and I mean that as a compliment).
