Did you know my boss once shared a hospital room with Keith Emerson?

That is an amazing fact I did not know. Simpson's "Anywhere But Here" profoundly affected me at one time. One of the phone lines in my Mom's house used to be the phone # of Meadowlark Lemon, and people would call our house looking for him? Also, once my dad was in a hospital room and the previous patient had been "a rock star named Dewey," which is what the people who called the room looking for him said. I figured it was either Dewey Bunnel of America, or Dewey of Don & Dewey, but never got to the bottom of that one.

Did you know the von Trapp family lived across the street from my childhood home (much earlier, of course)? It's a fact.

That's spectacular. I've heard that the von Trapps were a big influence on the "Philly sound."
My hometown celebs were Bob from Sesame Street, Mr. Earl the Pearl Monroe, and the kid from On Golden Pond.
