what a lovely weekend that sounds like. I had a great pair of frye boots I had re-soled over 12 times. (they were not really meant for Syracuse winters) now they're gone and i regret not keeping them another 20 years... i thought Eastern promises was unfocused and overwrought, and am writing a big article on Naomi Watts for Bright Lights in which, I assure you, it shall be soundly dealt with!

The only objection I had to EP was the last 10-15 minutes, which had some logical gaffes, but that wasn't enough to turn me off to the poetry of the previous 2 hours. Naomi Watts was pretty low-key here. I believe it was the first role of hers I've seen where she didn't have an American accent.
