Amy Winehouse was originally denied a Visa to come to the U.S. The Visa was straightened out but she wasn't and won't be attending the Grammys anyway. Damn shame about her personal issues and a damn shame they've eclipsed her career as far as the news goes. She can only be partly blamed for that. The public feeds on blood and there's a ready supply from the press. I think that our society needs these Gollums in order to be able to look in the mirror... has to be some custom built representation of all that's wrong so nobody looks too closely at themselves. And I agree with Philip. The US Embassy is useless.
