Frankly, the Bowie episode was my least favorite. It seemed that they made an episode up around the fact that they had a Bowie song in their arsenal. My favorite was the croissant girls episode.

It's hard to choose an out-and-out favorite episode or song, as they are all great, but the tour episode, the LotR video, and the "racism" plot all loom large for me.

I too, was disappointed by Eagle Vs. Shark -- there was just no way getting around the fact that Clements's character was a total jerk; which pretty much made the whole movie hard to swallow. That being said, I've seen The Flight of the Conchords HBO One Night Stand, and found that pretty funny -- so I'll take a look (it's pretty easy to download this one via Bit Torrent, so my satisfaction is imminent)

I saw Eagle vs. Shark on a transatlantic flight last year, and even on a plane, couldn't make it all the way through. That's the sign of a sucky movie. As far as FotC goes, I think the "Mugged" episode was the top of the heap.

Oh, I was going to *tell* you how much you were going to love the Bowie thing, but I wanted you to be surprised! My favorite visitation was Bowie from the "Ashes to Ashes" video. I also love Mel.

Paula, don't want to spoil anything for you, so I will not make one pithy obsevation about Brett, Jermaine, Mel, Murray, et al. just glad you've gotten a taste and are enjoying it!
