Oh man! Bridge of Sighs... I can remember my older,(stoner) brother Robert listening to that one a lot when I was a kid -- I think I can recall giving it a listen as well (on the sly, when my brother was out, and I commandeered his stereo). I can't really remember anything about it though, other than it was very gee-tar hero-ish (as was most of what my brother listened to).

Hi. My name is Jeff, and I too am in my 40s. I remember that Trower album as well - can still recall chunks of it. I wouldn't call it "guitar hero-ish" (never mind the spelling), if only because for me that phrase evokes the sort of guitar-whacker who plays about a million notes per second. Trower was never that; instead, he was a Hendrix devotee, particularly the moody, bluesy, stoned Hendrix. I myself did not inhale in those days (really - never did much later, either) but that entire record pretty much exuded stonerness. Certainly was popular among the stoners at my high school, anyway.
