...better coffee a millionaire's money can't buy...how could this oddly awkward lyric be so catchy?

YAR, I LOVE ME SOME PIRATES!!! Um... to all you musician sorts... not music pirates and uh... no culture pirates, nor video pirates, or plagiarizers... But I've always wanted to be a pirate.

There are no Chock Full o' Nuts to be found in LaLa land -- nor White Castle, or Carvel, for that matter (can't say I miss his "product", but something about Tom Carvel's gravelly voice and lo-fi, home-made commercials still appeals).

Fudgie the Whale! That Singer Saints thing... can't be legal, right? I guess he's only been up for a couple of months, so get in while you can!

Has anyone been able to actually download anything from SingerSaints? I can't get past the stupid cat letters widget.

@Tom G.: I successfully downloaded Nina Simone's Little Girl Blue. Which is totally not out of copyright. So, awesome. Get it while y'can.

@Paula: He's on the intertr0nz. It's not you getting him in trubz.

Or maybe I'm Assy (or Assie); I never wrote it down before. (I sure said it a lot, though.)

cat letters widget.

That is, indeed, one of the weirder "captcha" varietals I've seen.

Actually, the "Singer Saints" guy says (in a comment in his post on Beefheart's Lick My Decals Off Baby) that everything he posts is from CD, not vinyl. They're just hard-to-find CDs... I'd misread his entry on that album and was about to point out that it had, in fact, been released on CD (I have a copy) - but the comments made me realize that he meant only that it'd never received an appropriately remastered release.

Ah--interesting, I just assumed...
