If I ever need some vaginal rejuvenation, I now know where to go. Thanks, Paula!

Chinese Cresteds are definitely a challenge. There are several breeds of hairless dogs and cats that I cannot bring myself to touch... one of my few textural hang-ups. My aunt and uncle were among the earliest breeders/importers of Bearded Collies to the United States--they had yet to be accepted as a legitimate breed by the AKC. We were at a "Rare Breeds" show when I was about 13 when I first encountered the Chinese Crested. I was quite certain that they had to be some sort of a genetic error. And they do unfortunately have the temperment of the chihuahua, which doesn't add to their charms.

One of our (former) neighbors had what I thought was an unfortunately hideous mutt -- didn't even realize that it is an actual AKC breed! Thanks for illuminatin'.

MacGregor, my only dog-bite scar, thirty-five years later, is from a chihhooahooa... those things are evil.

Bob,they are fierce little creatures. We should be thankful they're not the size of St. Bernards or we'd all be lunch.
