I've been a literary/reading pothole for a couple months now. My attention span has a short attention span and got bored with me. I read Cormac McCarthy's The Road and was seriously disappointed. It was glaringly unoriginal and seemed utterly uninspired. The sentence structure and narration were awkward... overall a bore. Somewhat more entertaining but with little to say was Jen Carpenter's Bitter Is The New Black. Nothing to run to the store for though.

I got that Yunque book you were talking about out of the library, so that's in the queue whenever I'm ready for it...
