Not only is Werner bulletproof, but apparently he'll rescue you if you crash your car, as well. The next time I see him I'll suggest he start wearing a cape...
Also, re: Curious Case... -- that's my main complaint about the film; it seems like a piece of cookie-cutter filmmaking, with just the right ingredients to attract members of The Academy (and in that, it appears to have succeeded); on the other hand, the baker of this particular cookie is David Fincher, so it's not without appeal...

That Gump/Button clip is FANTASTIC! I hated "Button" almost as much as I hated "Gump". I only today learned that both movies were written by the same guy. Lazy ba@#$@#!

Oh, I think Button is a better film in every way than Gump -- but everything good about it has nothing to do with the script: Great cast (Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, yes, even Pitt), great art direction, music, visual effects (which are so subtly done it's amazing because you can't spot them at all !), direction -- but the script is a throw-away bitter-sweet Hollywood romance; not the worse I've seen by far, but certainly un-extraordinary.
All that said, it'll probably sweep at this year's Academy Awards -- it was clearly intended from the git-go as Oscar-bait!

Man, you crazy kids with your moving pictureshows! It just fills me with joy to see you all showing such elan over this modern technology. Back in my day we had to do puppet shows with socks!

the immense popularity of t.i.'s latest singles proves to me that reports of an improvement in the national mood are mostly just hearsay.
