My good friend Eugene (who went by the name of Steve Witt when he attended N.C.) actually headed the Tool Library in Missoula, MT, for a couple of years. He had a sort of millitary-style helmet and jacket -- when acting in an official capacity; or just for when he felt like putting on a military-style helmet and jacket, I suppose.

We lend our kids to other families with small children. They then reciprocate by lending their kids to us. I think this is common nationwide. As usual, you made me all happy when you started talking about libraries. We love your love. :-)

Tom, this is one of the best comments ever.

Janet: I've heard about this kid-swinging thing, but I didn't know it happened in Ohio!!

I love libraries and old cathedrals. They share a lot in common. The dust never seems dirty.

I would, by the way, only consider a Kindle if they could make a scent program that approximates the smell of books. That or if there are no more trees. Which ever comes first.

No one loves the smell of books more than I do, but Kindle is pretty cool. I would consider getting one, when someone (Mac?) starts making them affordable.
