My Chapel Hill gig-ette went well. Though sparsely attended, every audience member was a good person. I'm into quality over quantity when it comes to audiences.

Chapel Hill is a darlin' town. Their crosswalk signs politely tell you how many seconds you have left to cross the street before the light changes.

A shout-out to the creators of Modern Nomad magazine, Lindsay and Jake, who hosted us.

Music listened to on the way down and up:

  • Chico Science, Afrociberdelia
  • Awesome 4-CD 1985 pop retrospective curated by my friend Miles Goosens
  • Damien Rice, O
  • English Beat's first album
  • Creedence, a necessity on a long drive
  • Green Pajamas, All Clues Lead to Megan's Bed
  • others I'm blanking out on, or didn't enjoy enough to remember
