2003-10-01 - 9:24 a.m. Mercy is back! We found her in Bay Ridge last night, thanks to a series of helpful phone tips and the magic of putting up about 50 "lost dog" posters. She was tired and thirsty, but generally in good shape, and now she's sleepin' it off at home. This gave me a new respect for her survival skills, and also for the kindness of strangers who helped us get her home. We got no less than 6 phone tips over the past two days, including one from a woman who had scoured the neighborhood with her kids to help find our hound. thoughts?
