For the record, my favorite Christmas carols are "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "Little Drummer Boy"--lyrically and musically they are just perfect, "parumpapumpum" notwithstanding. If it's been a whole year, and it's not the horrible David Bowie or Joan Jett version of the latter, I will cry on cue when I hear them for the first time in the season. thoughts?
