2004-07-18 - 11:32 p.m. Recording went well today! As we were tracking and tweaking Ten Minutes, on the ground floor of Wombat, Mr. Sharples was upstairs, borrowing Wombats fireplace and settee for the photographic pastiche of Bringing it All Back Home that will grace his solo album, due out soon. Ive heard his record, and its quite a stunner. More details upon its release. One of the weirder TV ads right now is the one for Seasonale, the birth control pill that allows women to have only 4 periods a year. That's not the weird part--it's that the periods are represented by jaunty pink dots and discs which the now period-unencumbered actresses fling around like frisbees. I think it would have been more fun if the actresses were required to throw, y'know, actual blood and uterine lining scraps at each other. A blood bath! Menstrual fluid fight! C'mon!
You can count on me to bring you the latest in dog-and-monkey photos, this one courtesy of Dateline: Kennel. (Thanks, Baby Party, for the link).
