2004-07-26 - 6:23 p.m. I like him, but I want to like Raymond Carver more than I actually do. He wrote in that epigrammatic style that makes for great quotes in isolation, but which tires me out when confronted whole. I guess I am fated to love the wordy, the run-ons, the British, the fellers and gals who can't shut up. A co-worker just came by and handed me a stack of Metallica CDs.
