2004-08-11 - 2:18 p.m. I am back from my mini-vacation in Chicago, with many tales to tell. However, most of them will have to wait, as I am also knee-deep in work and still w/o a computer at home. I will say this, though: the "El" is a delightful train system, rents and mortgage rates in Chi-town are refreshingly low, and it's nice to be in a city where you can live in a leafy, grassy, tree-lined neighborhood and still be in the city, just a bus- or train-ride away from some kinda cultcha.
