Just discovered, after 20 years, that the chorus to Belinda Carlisle's "Mad About You" is:

Mad about you (Mad about you)
Lost in your eyes (Reason aside)
Mad about love (Mad about you)
You and I

I always thought that second line was "Lost in your eyes (freezing inside)," which gave the song a poignant and complex twist. She was mad about him, but it didn't necessarily warm that frozen, lonely place inside her heart....as crazy infatuations tend not to do.

Oh, well.

Epilogue:

That iTunes carries the entire Belinda C catalog, yet not one recording by the vastly superior Jane Wiedlin is a travesty.
