Saw The Pillowman last night. What an intense, creepy, and surprisingly funny play. The set design is ingenious, the performances all very strong. It's the first thing I've ever seen Jeff Goldblum act in where he wasn't doing his "Jeff Goldblum" impression.

It always knocks me out to step into the theater district. As you walk down the block at 7:45, you know that dozens of really talented actors that you love are getting ready to go onstage and do their thing. Maybe they're nervous. But they are about to put on a special performance just for you, a performance that will never be duplicated. I love that feeling.

More later, gotta run...
