Gary Higgins is an old psych-pop-folkie from Connecticut who released a solo album in 1973 that found new life amongst Ebay hipsters in recent years. Drag City has recently re-released it on CD, and I'm a-listenin' right now. Gorgeous stuff: ethereal guitars grounded by deep bass and Higgins' low-key vocals. thoughts?
